Compliance Overview for Technicians

Welcome to HeadCount Compliance, your all-in-one tool for seamless safety equipment management. Our platform is designed to simplify inspections, testing, and maintenance to ensure full regulatory compliance, saving you both time and resources. As a technician, you will be using the Compliance Map View to manage your tasks efficiently, and this guide will provide an overview of its key features and benefits.

 

Accessing the Compliance Map View


Upon logging in to HeadCount, you will be directed to the Dashboard page. To start managing your inspections, follow these steps:

Selecting a Building and Floor Plan:

 

-Click on the Location Selector icon in the top header on the right. This allows you to choose the building and floor plan you need to work in.


Accessing Inspections:

 

-Navigate to the Inspections tab from the mobile navigation dropdown menu. Swipe left on the inspection tag and select "Inspect" to begin your inspection tasks.


Navigating to the Map View:

 

-Once you have selected an inspection, you will be taken to the Map View page, where you can see detailed maps of the selected building and floor plan.

The Compliance Map View offers several tools to help you manage inspections effectively:

Zooming:

 

Use the zoom buttons on the right-hand menu or the pinch-to-zoom gesture on touch-screen devices to adjust the map view.


Viewing Device Clusters:

 

Device clusters are displayed based on the selected floor and region. Click on a cluster to see all devices within that region.


Inspecting Devices

Selecting a Device:

 

-Click on a device marker to start the inspection process. Use your mobile device to scan the device’s barcode.


Filling Out Inspection Forms:

 

Complete the associated inspection form. If a device is marked as non-compliant, you will need to fill out a non-compliance form, and a work order will be automatically generated.


Real-Time Dashboards


HeadCount’s real-time dashboards provide an up-to-date view of compliance across your facilities. These dashboards enhance control and transparency, allowing you to track compliance without the need for physical file reviews.

 

Efficient Work Order Management


HeadCount simplifies work order management by automatically generating work orders from failed inspections. This ensures that issues are promptly addressed and resolved, maintaining the highest level of operational integrity and safety.

 

Comprehensive Reporting


Stay audit-ready with HeadCount’s auto-generated compliance reports. These reports meet the requirements of various regulatory bodies, ensuring your facility remains compliant with the latest safety standards.

 

Important Note

While the desktop app allows you to view the map, all inspections must be completed on a mobile device to enable barcode scanning.
