Adding an Asset in Compliance for Technicians
Adding assets is a crucial part of maintaining compliance and ensuring that all equipment is properly tracked and managed within your facility. With the HeadCount Compliance App, technicians can easily add new assets, ensuring that they are accurately documented and included in the inspection cycle. This article will guide you through the process of adding an asset using the HeadCount app.

Accessing the Asset Creation Tab
To begin adding an asset, ensure that you have been added to the asset's inspection cycle by an administrator. Once you have the necessary permissions, follow these steps:

1. Log into the HeadCount App: Use your technician credentials to log into the app.
2. Navigate to the Asset Creation Tab: From the navigation dropdown, select the 'Asset Creation' tab.
Viewing Available Assets
Once you're in the Asset Creation tab, you will see a table listing all the assets you can create. The table provides a comprehensive overview of each asset type, allowing you to:

1. View Details: Click on the 'Details' option for any asset type to see specific information. This includes:
-Devices created
-Total devices
-Start and end date of the inspection cycle
-Remaining days in the inspection cycle

2. Create an Asset: Click on the 'Create' option to proceed with adding a new asset.
Creating an Asset
When you select 'Create', you will be taken to the map view of the inspection cycle. Here, you can see all existing assets and use the map to add new ones. Follow these steps:

1. Open the Options Menu: Click the three dots in the upper right corner to access options such as:
-Zoom in or out
-Center map
-Toggle device clusters on or off
-Scan a device
-Add an asset (plus button)

2. Add the Asset:
-Click the plus button to begin adding a new asset.
-Select the location on the map where the new asset is situated.
-Scan the asset's barcode using your device's camera.
-Fill out the required information specific to the asset, as per your organization's requirements.

3. Submit the Asset: After entering all necessary details, hit 'Submit' to create the asset in the system.
