Understanding the Notifications Page for Admins
This article breaks down the Notifications page, its three tabs, and what notifications you’ll encounter as an admin—plus how to interact with them and spot key indicators.
The Notifications Page Layout
Once you’re on the Notifications page, you’ll see three tabs: Activity, Notifications, and System Notifications. Each serves a distinct purpose for managing your role.
Tabs
-Activity Tab: Exclusive to admins, this is your live feed of all building-wide events. It tracks every work order and request activity across your selected buildings—think of it as your oversight dashboard.
-Notifications Tab: Your personal alerts, showing tasks or updates tied directly to you, like assignments or approvals you’ve made.
-System Notifications Tab: Platform-wide updates from HeadCount CMMS, such as maintenance schedules or new feature announcements.
What Notifications Consist Of
Notifications vary by tab but fall into three main categories:
Work Order Notifications:

-Work Order Created: A new task is added.
-Work Request Submitted/Approved: A request enters or moves through the system.
-Work Order Assigned/Updated/Completed: Tracks task progress, changes, or completion.
-Work Order Pending Admin Approval/Approved by Admin: Highlights your approval tasks.
Work Order Alerts:

-Work Order Form Alarm Triggered: Urgent issues needing action.
-PM Schedule Inactivity/Disabled Alerts: Flags maintenance schedule gaps.
-Scheduled/Overdue Work Order Alerts/Warnings: Keeps deadlines in check.
Account Notifications:

-Team User Added: Team roster updates.
-Message Received: New chat messages.
-The Activity tab shows all these for the building, while Notifications filters to your personal involvement.

Interacting with Notifications
