Maintenance Request Portals
Request Portals are customizable forms that are publicly accessible on the web, allowing users to submit work requests. As a vendor, you have specific options to interact with these portals to streamline your workflow.
Accessing and Using Portals
When you navigate to the Maintenance app and select "Request Portals" from the left navigation bar, you will see a list of all available portals. Here's how you can interact with these portals:
Submit a Work Request:

-This option allows you to submit a maintenance request directly to the selected portal.
-After selecting this option, you will be presented with a form that needs to be filled out with all the necessary details regarding the maintenance task or issue.
-Ensure you provide complete and accurate information to help expedite the maintenance process.
-Once you’ve filled out the form, submit it to send your request to the designated portal.
Visit Portal:

-This option takes you to the public-facing request portal.
-By visiting the portal, you can see the interface and form that end-users interact with to submit their requests. It’s a good practice to familiarize yourself with this view to understand how users will input their maintenance requests.
-Just like with submitting a work request directly, you will need to fill out the form on the portal before submitting it.
View Portal QR Code:

-This option displays the QR code associated with the selected portal.
-The QR code can be scanned by users with their mobile devices to quickly access the portal and submit a work request.
-This feature is particularly useful for placing QR codes in common areas or near equipment that frequently requires maintenance.
Copy Portal Link:

-This option copies the URL of the selected portal to your clipboard.
-You can share this link easily via email, chat, or any other communication method.
-Additionally, you can integrate this link into other systems or documents to provide quick access to the portal.
By utilizing these options, you can efficiently manage and respond to maintenance requests, ensuring that issues are promptly addressed and resolved.
