Assigned Work Orders for Vendors

 

The Assigned Work Orders section in HeadCount is designed to help vendors efficiently manage and track their tasks. This guide will walk you through navigating the Assigned Work Orders section, understanding its features, and effectively managing your tasks.

 

Accessing Assigned Work Orders


To access the Assigned Work Orders section, follow these steps:

-Navigate to the Assigned Work Tab: You can find this tab either in the left navigation bar or the app navigation popover for mobile.


-Searchable and Sortable Table: Here, you will see a table listing all the work orders assigned to you or to a team you belong to.


On desktop, the table displays:

-Name of the work order: The title or name of the task.


-Floor name: The specific floor where the work order is located.


-Category: The category of the work order, indicating the type of work required.


-Priority: The urgency level of the work order, helping you prioritize tasks.


-Completion date: The due date by which the work order should be completed.


-Favorite star icon: Allows you to mark important work orders as favorites for quick access.


On mobile, the table displays:

-Work order name: The title of the task.


-Complete by date: The due date for task completion.


Managing Work Orders


You have multiple options when you select a work order:

 

Complete the Work Order:

-Action: Click on this option to open the work order in a modal window.


-Functionality: In the modal, you can fill out all necessary fields and update the work order status. You have the option to save the updates to complete the work order later or mark it as completed if you have finished the task.


View Work Order:

-Action: Click on this option to view detailed information about the work order.

Sections:


-Work Order Details: This section shows the basic information about the work order and what has been filled out so far.


-Work Form: This section displays the attached work order form and all its fields, providing comprehensive details about the task requirements.


-Users Tab: This section lists all the admins, technicians, vendors, and teams assigned to this work order, allowing you to see who is involved.


View Map Pin:

-Action: Select this option to see the location of the work order on a map.


-Functionality: If a map pin was added when the work order was created, this option takes you to the map view of the floor where the work order is located. The pin indicates the exact location of the task. Clicking on the pin will show you the work order details.


Favorite Toggle:

-Action: Toggle the work order as a favorite.


-Functionality: By clicking the favorite star icon or using this option, you can mark important work orders as favorites. This helps in quickly accessing and prioritizing critical tasks.


Print:

-Action: Click this option to preview and print a printable version of the work order.


-Functionality: This is useful if you need a hard copy of the work order details while performing the task.


Filtering Work Orders


To efficiently manage and find specific work orders, you can use the filtering options provided:

-Priority: Filter work orders based on their priority level, allowing you to address the most urgent tasks first.


-Date Range: Provide either a start date, end date, or both to filter work orders within a specific date range, helping you plan and manage tasks according to deadlines.
