The Compliance Map View in HeadCount CMMS is an essential tool for vendors to visualize and manage the location and status of assets within their client organizations. This guide provides detailed instructions on using the Compliance Map View to ensure you can effectively conduct inspections and maintain compliance.

Accessing the Compliance Map View
After logging in to HeadCount, you will be taken to the Dashboard page. To access the Compliance Map View, follow these steps:

Selecting a Building and Floor Plan:
-Click on the Location Selector icon in the top header on the right. This feature allows you to select the building and floor plan where you need to perform your tasks.
Accessing Inspections:
-From the mobile navigation dropdown menu, navigate to the Inspections tab. This is your starting point for managing and viewing inspections.
-Swipe left on the inspection tag and select "Inspect" to begin the inspection process.
Navigating to the Map View:
-Once you select an inspection, you will be redirected to the Map View page, which displays detailed maps of the selected building and floor plan.

The Map View provides several useful features to help you navigate and manage inspections effectively:

Zooming:
-Use the zoom buttons on the right-hand menu or the pinch-to-zoom feature on touch-screen devices to adjust the map to your preferred view.
Viewing Device Clusters:
-Device clusters are displayed based on the selected floor and region. These clusters show an aggregated view of devices in a specific area.
-Click on a cluster to see detailed information about all devices within that region.
Inspecting Devices
To inspect devices, follow these steps:

Selecting a Device:
-Click on a device marker to start the inspection process.
-Use your mobile device to scan the barcode of the device. This step ensures the correct device is being inspected and helps maintain accurate records.
Filling Out Inspection Forms:
-Complete the inspection form for the device. This form will include fields necessary for documenting the device’s condition and compliance status.
-If a device is found to be non-compliant, you must fill out a non-compliance form, which will automatically generate a work order to address the issue.
Customizing the Map View
You can tailor the map view to better suit your inspection needs by using the Location Selector:

-Select specific floor plans and regions within the building to focus on the areas most relevant to your inspections.
Important Note:
-While the desktop app provides a view of the map, it is important to note that all inspections must be completed on a mobile device. This is necessary because barcode scanning, which is essential for the inspection process, can only be performed on mobile devices.
